Well done on your rainbow themed foliage – makes my sticking with yellow seem quite tame! I really notice foliage these days – all the year round and not just in the autumn
It just came to me while taking a walk round the estate – all the different colours. Autumn is so beautiful! I do believe foliage is so important in the garden. Evergreens provide the backbone, while deciduous gives us the annual interest. Flowers are the bonus!
A lovely theme, have you found the pot of gold?
If only!! I keep wishing!
I love the Autumn colours, lovely pics, we have had a good Autumn so far.
I agree! I just love the autumn leaves, and have to include some suitable trees and shrubs in our garden.
You have such a lovely selection of plants in your Autumn borders, I am very jealous!
Thank you! It’s not so much an Autumn border really, they are dotted around the garden. I do tend to choose plants, in particular shrubs, for scent, but I also aim for year round interest and try to include plants for autumn colour, bark and berries too.
