Ha! They certainly do look like shuttlecocks – great pic 🙂
I agree! I just love watching them unfurl.
The Ostrich Fern! What a lovely scene it makes and a great photo. I love your pot, what have you got growing in it?
A sundial!! It’s not actually a pot. It’s a column with a sundial on top! 🙂 It is a lovely fern – such a fresh, lime green.
Is this your garden, the wall, pot and ferns are all very lovely!
Yes, it’s our garden, Julie. Thank you! We have on one side this wonderful brick wall (all 160 ft of it!) as a boundary – technically the property of our neighbours. It makes such a wonderful backdrop. We feel so lucky! As for the “pot”, it’s actually a sundial!
Fresh and very lush.
Yes, this small bed is also planted up with white flowered and foliaged plants which just adds to the freshness, including, currently, the fascinating Solomon’s Seal. I must show a good picture of the whole bed. Actually, my old header showed a good image of it.
Beautiful! It has such a classic, established look to it. Those ferns are definitely standing at attention. 🙂
Thank you! Ferns can have that effect. I just love their form and lovely fresh green colour.
